Verbs that take a complementary infinitive.

Hi,

Is there a name for verbs that often take an infinitive? I know the infinitive is complementary, but what would the verb be called?

For example: θελω γραφειν. δυναμαι βλεπειν.

Thanks!

ὦ χαῖρε, Βρεντ!

I don’t believe there is, no. If we wanted to coin a term, I would suggest “aparemphatic verbs.” If nothing else, this would help one remember the Greek word for “infinitive” (ἡ ἀπαρέμφατος.)
