Useful online resources for learning Latin

I would like to share some very useful online resources that I have stumbled upon for learning latin:

This site will conjugate any verb in any romance language, including Latin, but it does not have the definitions. For Latin, you have to enter the verb in it’s first person present indicative form rather than the infinitive. (i.e. you must enter “ego” instead of “egare”)

This online dictionary allows you to look up the meaning of any word in any language including Latin, for Latin words it even lists the nouns and adjectives in all their declension endings.

I don’t want to be picky, bit neither ego or egare are latin verbs :stuck_out_tongue:. Also, it’s worth to know, than in latin the present tense first person indicative active voice is considered the dictionary form, on the contrary to say english or french where the infinitive is. Ego is a pronoun and means ‹I›, and ‹to be› in first person indicative is ‹sum›.

Your right, I meant egeo. And by using allverbs.com I have now realised that I was wrong about the infinitive too. It is actually “egere” not “egare”.
