From Wheeler’s workbook you’re to translate into Latin "Many men today do not love the wisdom of ancient philosophy.
I wrote Multi viri sapientiam antiqual philosophiae hodie non amant.
The Wheeler workbook key says uh uh… its “multa viri” not multi viri
I guess I’m confused about adjectives agreeing with their nouns in gender, number and case. The declension of the many is fem, masc, neuter - multa, multus, multum, etc., so why not use multi?
Can you clear this up for me?
Many thanks in advance
