Can ὅταν be used with indicative in Plato?
It’s a solecism by classical greek standards, but very common later. Doubtful in Plato I think and usually amended. it’s often worth checking to see if the verb is actually subjunctive iotacistically miswritten as indicative, e.g. -ει for -ῃ. Manuscripts are untrustworthy.
