καθ' ἑτέρου λεγόμενον

καθ’ ἑτέρου λεγόμενον. Literally, I guess, it means ‘what is said in one of two meanings.’ Is it a technical term or something?

Hi, this is an expression meaning to predicate something of a subject. I’d recommend you first work through Aristotle’s organon, especially (based on your recent posts) On interpretation (and for that in turn, it’s important to work through Categories first).
