χαίρετε, τί εστι καινόν;

Hi everyone.

I tried learning ancient Greek at University, and almost failed my first year. I took a break from Greek for three years, then wanted to finish what I started. And I had forgotten most of what I learned. So, needless to say, I have a lot of catching up to do. But I’m managing ok for the time being. Hoping to come into my second year and final Greek unit hitting the ground running and smashing it.

I took up ancient Greek along with Hebrew so I could check out the bible in it’s original languages (hoping to get some Aramaic in at some point too).

I want to get fluent with Greek, just like I am fluent in English, my first language, so that reading the bible and any Greek text feels as fast and natural as any other everyday activity.
