Greetings. I feel I’m going a bit crazy. I’m in chapter 35 of Groton and for about the fifth time now I see the word αὕτη. Note the rough breathing and an accent on the first syllable. I have been assuming that this was a typo for αὐτή (smooth breathing, accent on the ultima), but this is starting to seem improbable. As far as I can tell, the form αὕτη, if it exists at all, is not introduced in the book. What am I missing?
Check οὗτος , αὕτη, τοῦτο in your grammar. It must be there with the other pronouns.
