In modern dictionaries and commentaries, it means just ‘teenager’, I guess; but older commentaries mentioned that it ‘Atticis usurpatur de molli et pathico potissimum adulescente.’ The ground for this was, as I understand, that in most messages it was usually followed by ἁπαλός. So, I’m not sure how to understand it, eventually.
