Excellent. It works fine in my computer. Very well done but I’d add the Latin text in youtube’s clip in order to read at the same time we listen to your voice. And congratulations for your blog and your Latin recordings. You have a great voice.
Gonzalo: thank you very much! I appreciate the feedback greatly. I would like to add the subtitles, but it’s not possible in iMovie, which I used to compile the music, video, and voice recordings (and sound effects). However, I can offer the trascript of the dubbing right here:
Joker: Res inmutasti. Pro semper. Non fieri potest reverti. Illis … tu modo cerritus. Ut ego!
Gordon: Nullum nomen nec cognomen. Vestimenta sunt … ab ipso confecta. Nulla in sinibus praeter cultros et linamentum.
J: Salve, Commissor!
Cur tam serius?
Batman: Ubi est?
Brus Wayne: Moriuntur homines. Quid faciam?
Alfredus: Dura! Exsul esse potes. Constituere potest quod nemo alius confrontet. Juste constituere.
J: Pugnaciola! mi placet!
B: Tibi perplacebo!
J: Omnia secundum consilium.
Age, ice me!
Sorrisum in ista facie pingamus.
You need, Luce, a spit guard for your mic. Panty hose stretched over a frame will do fine. That’ll get your bilabial stop consonants under control.
Considering the general critical buzz, I was expecting a much better film. It certainly is a big film — my, yes — and loud. The Dark Knight, when not in his suit, is dull and possibly sedated. The moralizing is gratingly trite. There is, at least, the mesmerizing rendition of the Joker to keep one’s attention.
Awesome suggestion, Will! Much appreciated; I already have the panty hose, and I’m going to get some copper wire for a frame to connect around the micstand.
I love your commentary! Haha, I don’t fully agree, but I appreciate your thoughts and will relate them this week at ScorpioMartianus along with my own review. Thanks again! Let’s see how this spit guard works out…
