I don’t understand what ὅτι is doing here: ἦν δὲ διὰ ταῦτα τρία [190b] γένη καὶ τοιαῦτα, ὅτι τὸ μὲν ἄρρεν ἦν τοῦ ἡλίου τὴν ἀρχὴν ἔκγονον… Coz there is no verb of saying or thinking here…
