Sophistry?

I found this quote from The Yeoman of the Guard by W S Gilbert and felt to inspired to give it a fresh version. So here it is in in a pair of iambic trims

ἔξεστί μοι σε παιδιαῖς φρενοῦν σοφαῖς
ὑμᾶς πλανᾶν γελῶντι δ’ οῦν ἔξεστί μοι

Not the most artistic of efforts but here is another version in Latin hendecasyllables…

ioco te facile erudire possum
discendo bene te ferire possum.

It is from song 9 by Point in Act 1: The Yeomen of the Guard
