Some modern Latin articles

Hi,

Somebody from the YLE Nuntii Latini (http://chat.yle.fi/latini/index.php) recommended a site not a long time ago where there are some interesting articles.
http://www.maurouberti.it/latino/documenti/testi/angelino/angelino.html

I’ve enjoyed Angelino’s Latin because of his simplicity and clearness. I’ve read his article on Latin pronunciation and “Et ego Italicus miles!”. Merlatti seems to be more vivid and expressive (alle volte baroque) a kind of Seneca Minor. There are some articles in Italian too.

Regards,
Gonzalo

Thanks for these, Gonzalo. I’d seen the Angelino stuff, but not Merlatti. And I have to agree with you that the difference between their styles is day and night. Of course, Angelino was actively promoting an efficient, living Latin, while Merlatti, from what I’ve seen, is more interested in producing literary pieces.
