Is τύχεν unaugmented by choice?
I would not mix the genitive absolute with ὅτε etc. where you have a present participle in the nominative both referring to God, who is also the subject of the verbs. μόνος → μόνον ἄλλων δὲ τῶν ζῴων τε καὶ τῶν φυτῶν this should be in the accusative αὐτους → αὐτά?
Thank you, those are all good suggestions. For the genitive “ἄλλων δὲ τῶν ζῴων τε καὶ τῶν φυτῶν,” I was trying to convey the idea of him picking them out one by one, but I suppose that didn’t actually result in intelligible Greek.
