Salvete Omnes!

Salve, Mihi nomen est Brent.
hehe.
Alright. so I just wanted to let everyone know, I’m very new to the forum, the website, and Latin. I am 16, and I am a Junior in Highschool. I am very advanced and a very quick learner, my school normally doesnt offer Latin, but they made an exception for me, so starting next year, i will be enrolled in Latin I. So i will have an offical instructor.

I do, however, already know a basic knowledge of Latin, and I would love to learn more over the summer with your guys help. I have many E-books and I use the Rossetta Stone to help me learn latin. I am VERY interested in the language and I do not get discouraged easily.

=] Anyway. I did come here with a question. haha. It is reguarding Verbs. Is it best to just try to memorize the charts? I memorized my denclensions for nouns. Should i try to do the same for Verbs?

Also, if you know of ANY books to recommend me read, and/or any good online resources and tool, PLEASE let me know.

I also have MSN is you would like to contact me there.

Gratias tibi ago!

Vale!

Hey Brent

It is great to see such enthusiasm and confidence! Sine dubio iter magni valoris capescis. Tibi fortuna maxima volo. You are undertaking a journey of great worth. I wish you good luck.

There are many fans in this forum of a series called Lingua Latina. The author is Orberg. The books should be available used from abebooks.com. The supposed advantage of Lingua Latina is the natural method of learning that is employed.
