What does “Deus ex Crapula” mean?
Gratias,
Rusticus
looks like a play off of the famous expression “deus ex machina”. My dictionary says that “crapula” means drunkenness or a hangover. Not sure whether that person is trying to be funny or profound… I think they failed in either case.
Salve klewlis,
It’s a category on the Latin newspaper website, Ephemeris:

Left hand menu, almost at the bottom of the menu.
Looks strange, doesn’t it? I cannot figure out the meaning just from a literal translation. I’m using Cassell’s and WW’s online Words dictionaries.
Vale
God out of debauchery/drunkeness/a hangover ?
