I am having trouble translating a Greek sentence into English. The sentence reads,
οἱ πλέονες συνεβούλευόν μοι ποιεῖν ἃ ἐκεῖνος παρῄνεσεν.
I believe the συνεβούλευόν is the first person imperfect. πλέονες is a comparative, but I cannot figure out what it is comparing. ἃ is either a nominative or accusative neuter relative pronoun. So far I come up with gibberish, “The more (the more what? multitude?) I used to advise to/for/by me to do what he advised.
