Χαίρετε!
I must still be having a lot of confusion with Unit 35. I am supposed to translate this into Greek:
ὅστις ἂν πρέσβεις ἀδικῇ, εἰ μὴ αὐτίκα ἀλλὰ τέλος δίκην δίδωσιν.
- Before I start translating, I am trying to figure out which pattern from Unit 35 this falls into. The first clause starts with an indefinite pronoun, the second with an “if.” I figure the second clause is the protasis but do not know if I call the first clause the apodosis or something else?
- The second clause has an εἰ + indicative pattern, so it looks like it is a neutral condition. Is that correct?
