I have six sentences that I have to render into Greek. It will not surprise me if I have questions for all of them. For the first one, I need to translate, "Do not betray your city, men of Athens. I wrote, "μὴ προδῶτε τὴν πόλιν ὑμῶν, ὦ Ἀθηνᾶιοι .
The answer book wrote, "μὴ προδῶτε τὴν ὑμετέραν πόλιν, ὦ ἄνδρες Ἀθηναῖοι.
Is it OK that I put “your city” in the genitive instead of using ὑμετέραν? I just used Athenian rather than placing ἄνδρες in there. Is that OK since an Athenian is usually either men or men and women combined, or is it better to place ἄνδρες in there?

τὴν πόλιν ὑμῶν is fine.
ὦ ἄνδρες Ἀθηναῖοι is the standard formula. Women scarcely counted.
