Pharr-c open to accept members.

Chad already mentioned to send Paul your information so that he can start issueing login IDs and passwords.
http://www.textkit.com/groups/pharr/session-c.php is a link to the page describing how to join, plus it has some introductory information and a schedule for the fist few weeks.
Ps. There is a limit to the number of members so don’t wait to long.

One more thing. Please post a message to this thread stating that you have joined. That way we have a bit of an idea where we are at.
I know that several have already indicated that they are interested but that thread was just to do that; to gauge if there was enough interest.
Thank you.

We have to join even if we already sent the info to Paul?

Yes please. I’m not exactly sure how it all works, (Will has set up the mailing list,) but if you join using the page I gave the link to then some of the automatic emails requesting confirmation etc. will be in place.

Hi Bert,

I trust that everyone who said “yes” in the New Pharr group looking for members thread is “in”.

For better or worse, we still have a vestigial mailing list component. Hence the need for those who’ve sent me their credentials to register at the session page. I realize that this is confusing.

Once the group gets going there is almost no need for the mailing list.

Cordially,

Paul

Hi again,

I have received requests for specific userids from yhehve and psilord.

If you would like a particular userid, please PM or e-mail me and I will do my best to accomodate you.

Cordially,

Paul

If I knew you would be getting extra job for that I wouldn’t have asked :frowning:
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you again for all

I logged into GTSS and entered the greek to english for lessonID 11 as a test.

I did this with firefox 1.0.4 on a fedora core 3 linux machine and everything seems to work so far…

Oh yeah, I subscribed to the mailing list too.

Hi,

I will soon be creating a GTSS account for JuliaP.

If you don’t ask me for a specific userid, don’t worry. I’ll create an account for you using your name, e.g., ‘Michael’ or ‘Diane’.

Diane: relax! You’re in good hands with Bert and Chad as guides. Your Pharr text is fine. You can get acquainted with betacode at http://discourse.textkit.com/t/representing-greek-font-notes-for-new-users/131/1

Cordially,

Paul

I am so glad this is starting. I have been trying to make a go of it on my own but I’m not sure if I am developing bad habits or not at this point.

i tried to join last night and didn’t recieve an e-mail, so I tried again today. I hope this doesn’t cause a problem. If you need to PM me so i don’t take a spot for someone else go ahead and I will give you my e-mail.
