How to translate “seven good ones of ten hoplites stay.” ?
I’m not sure I understand the English perfectly, but maybe this:
Thank you!
but can I translate into the following way?
I enphasize two little mistakes. But yes it’s clear the sense. And also in the version of Jeidsath -which is the same as yours only that you change the order.
For me both have sense, but i prefer-stylistically talking- yours, which is structurally closer to my native language, at least I will propose this order too. But on the reality both are and say the same thing.
thank you for your help!
