One of these things does not belong

Ok, I was looking up Latin educational CD’s on eBay, and I found one which states it is useful for:

  • Asking common questions
  • Making a telephone call
  • Talking about the weather
  • Using the postal service
  • Working with a calendar
  • Ordering at a restaurant
  • Inquiring about directions
  • Traveling
  • Counting money
  • Shopping
  • Family relations
  • Reading street signs
  • And much more!

Can you figure out which of these are completely useless today?
I count seven.

Many of those things have never been useful… making a telephone call, in Rome or the modern world in Latin?
