Hi all!
Can any body please recommend a good edition of the Odyssey with commentary and reader, even better if it is dual Greek/English text. Something like Steadman’s editions but covering the whole text.
Thanks!

Hi Andriko,
“Homer Iliad Book I” by P. A. Draper is not exactly what you are looking for, however, it’s in the same neighborhood. It is pretty good, as a text. I used it to read book 1 and I found it a great resource.
W. B. Stanford’s Odyssey is in two volumes, I-XII and XIII-XXIV, so it does cover the entire Odyssey, however, it does not have a full vocabulary. It’s a different kind of commentary.
I’m not sure if there are any editions that cover all of the Odyssey or the Iliad with vocab, like a Steadman. The nearest thing might be Loeb Classical editions of Homer’s Odyssey and Iliad, which are parallel texts in Greek/English.
Thanks, Stanford’s looks like the best I will get. Greek/English and full vocab is not the most essential, it’s more the commentary and analysis I am after.

You mentioned dual Greek-English. Are you familar with the Loeb Classical Library (the “low-ebb” as we used to call it)? Amazon.com: The Odyssey: Books 1-12 (The Loeb Classical Library, No 104): 9780674995611: Homer, Dimock, George E., Murray, A. T.: Books
