I’m a Classics professor on the early retirement program at Cal State Long Beach (LB is one of the two ports of Los Angeles). I began teaching in 1988 and I’m in the third year of five in the early retirement program in which I teach one semester per year. At that point I will be fully retired. My birth certificate has on it a hyphenated last name, but the Textkit registration didn’t like Domingo-Forasté even without the accent and the hyphen. So I just went with Foraste. (Douglas seemed acceptable). I left a question on the Homeric scansion under the Homer and Early Greek Poetry thread.
Welcome to Textkit!
