New Latin course: De Romanis

Hi all, I just heard about a (relatively) new Latin course: De Romanis. The new features of the course are explained on the companion website (which has lots of audio, quizzes, comprehension sheets etc. to follow the books, as well as recorded webinars explaining the authors’ approach):

Here’s a link to the sample first chapter:

I’ve just ordered both of the books, as the concepts definitely seem interesting: e.g. trying to keep the best parts of the Cambridge Latin course, while introducing more grammar earlier; dividing each chapter up into modules so that different learning groups can follow different streams, etc. The companion website will make this quite helpful for teaching, although nothing on there seems to match the fantastic Cambridge Latin Course Latin stories re-enacted on video (on the Cambridge Latin Course’s accompanying DVDs).

Just checking whether anyone else has used this course yet? Many thanks.

Cheers, Chad
