metre-1st verse of Odyssey

what’s your opinion on the 3rd syllable?

ἄνδρα μοι ἔννεπε, μοῦσα, πολύτροπον, ὃς μάλα πολλὰ

_ U ? | _ U U | _ U U | _ U U | _ U U | _ _

It is short by position.

I’ve just noticed your signature and I have a question. Which is correct, according to what really Sokrates said?:

οἶδα οὐδὲν εἰδῶς

or yours?

I don’t know, having seen both of them.

I think it’s the one i use. I believe so because the antithesis is expressed in a great way!!! We have two nouns totally opposite used in two sentences that one defines the other!!! GREAT CONCEPTION

I know one thing, that i know nothing!!!

hmmm

I just noticed that οἶδα οὐδὲν εἰδῶς is very neat due to the assonance of d and o (as it sounds in anciant greek). Now i have the same question as u…

God i love this when it happens
