Lucian - Θεῶν ʼΕκκλησία - accusative/participle after ὅτι?

In the below passage, where Momus is complaining about the conjectures of the philosophers, why is τὴν τύχην πράξουσαν in the accusative? It seems to be dependant on εἰδὼς ὅτι, but i would expect a finite verb not a participle after ὅτι

You are quite right. It’s an anacoluthon. By the time he gets to ὅμως the ὅτι is forgotten, so that the acc. & participle (τὴν τύχην πράξουσαν) depends directly on εἰδὼς, instead of being nom. & indicative.
