If anybody has the volume ‘Looking at latin’ by Andresian this question is for you.
page 199 says that the future imperative (act/pass) of trado is Traduntur . In the same page it says that the 3rd conjugation verb’s have connector vowel ‘i’ . How can these be reconciled.

I’m confused, because “traduntur” is not the future imperative of “tradō”. It’s the third-person plural passive indicative. Did you mean “traduntor” (third-person plural passive future imperative)? It takes a “u” instead of “i” because “-int” almost always becomes “-unt”. (There are some exceptions, but not many.)

BTW, Google Books has pages 198 and 200 of this book, but not 199. Bizarre.
