Latin Tattoo

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

I’m hoping somebody can spare the time to help me out with a small translation, I know this beautiful lady who wishes to have the line of text “By the light of the moon, seize the night” tattood down her spine.

Would: “Imminente Luna carpe noctum”

Be the correct translation?

Thanks for your help in advance,
Marc

I wouldn’t worry so much about the translation being correct as I would about the tattotist spelling everything correctly

I (who am not an expert) believe it’s correct, plus also “per lunam” and “per lunarem lampadem” for “by the light of the moon” or “by moonlight”.
Rectè dicis, ut ego non peritus credo, praetereà haec: “per lunam” et “per lunarem lampadem”.

Post Scriptum

Except it should be “noctem” not “noctum”
Praeterquàm “noctem” non “noctum” scribatur.
