I was busy this las time, but now I’m totally ready:)

here are these excercises, I have a question on the 247.1 as you will see…

the messengers will proceed from the market place to the tents.

  1. οἱ ἄγγελοι ?ξ τὴς ἀγο?ὰς εἰς ταῖς σκηναῖς πο?ε?σονται.
    Cyrus and his staff proceed immediately to the palace.

  2. Κῦ?ος καὶ οἱ αμφί α?τὸν πο?ε?ονται ε?θ?ς πα?ὰ τὴν βασιλείαν.
    he had a stronghold above the village.

  3. ὑπε? δὲ τὴς κώμης χω?ίον ἰσχυ?ὸν εἶχε.
    before the battle the generals sacrefied in their tents to the gods.

  4. π?ὸ δὲ τὴς μαχὴς ?ν ταῖς σκηναῖς οἱ στ?ατεγοὶ θεοῖς ?θύσαν.

this thief was dishonored.

  1. ὅδε ? κλώψ…
    the Cilicians have horses.
  2. οἱ Κίλικες ἵππους ἔχουσιν.
    The sent Thracian guards.
  3. Θ?ᾴκας φύλακας ἕπεμψε.
    the heavy-armed men had breastplates.
  4. οἱ ?πλίται θώ?ακας εἴχον.
    the canal is long and narrow: and upon it is a bridge.
    5.ἡ διῶ?υξ μακ?ὰ ?στιν καὶ στενή · ὑπε? δὲ τοὺτου γέφυ?α ?στίν.

Please, voici :

I added some alternative word orders when there was a δέ after a preposition.

the messengers will proceed from the market place to the tents.

  1. οἱ ἄγγελοι ?κ (rather kappa before consonant) τῆς ἀγο?ᾶς εἰς τὰς σκηνὰς (accusative) πο?ε?σονται.
    Cyrus and his staff proceed immediately to the palace.

  2. Κῦ?ος καὶ οἱ ἀμφὶ α?τὸν πο?ε?ονται ε?θὺς πα?ὰ τὰ βασίλεια (neuter plural :exclamation: ).
    he had a stronghold above the village.

  3. ὑπε? δὲ τῆς κώμης χω?ίον ἰσχυ?ὸν εἶχε. / χω?ίον δ᾽ ὑπε? τῆς κώμης ἰσχυ?ὸν εἶχε.
    before the battle the generals sacrefied in their tents to the gods.

  4. π?ὸ δὲ τῆς μάχης ?ν ταῖς σκηναῖς οἱ στ?ατηγοὶ θεοῖς ?θύσαν. / . οἱ δὲ στ?ατηγοὶ π?ὸ τῆς μάχης ?ν ταῖς σκηναῖς θεοῖς ?θύσαν.
