Just taking a moment to introduce myself to the board. I’ve been browsing Textkit as a lurker for years; through it I have filled my hard drive with countless pdfs of Greek colloquies, French/German grammars for Greek, abstruse bilingual editions, etc. Going forward as a teacher of Greek and Latin I’m striving for “conversational fluency,” and am doing this by talking to the wall and slowly working through a mountain of pedagogical materials. I hope to reach the end of the beginning of this effort before I perish (I’m a PhD student currently). Learning these languages well is a solitary effort; this board is a comfort.
