Good morning,
I have a BA in classics from 2003 that unfortunately got pretty rusty while I built a career for myself in technology and then pivoted back to academia. Now I’m a professor in a business school and over the last few years I’ve built my skills back up.
Latin has been a fairly smooth process but wow, I feel I’ve really lost my way in Greek.
After working through Athenaze and then transitioning into Herodotus and Xenophon I just don’t feel I have anything close to the proficiency with the language I want. I’m at the point of doing a hard reboot and learning something like modern greek just so I don’t feel like I’m slogging through so much.
