Greetings All 
I found Textkit whilst searching for some information on contracted Greek Verbs and as someone just starting out on teaching myself Greek using the JACT Reading Greek books I thought it would be great to join a forum where I could ask questions and interact with others who share the same interest. I have also returned to Latin using Peter Jones and Keith Sidwell’s books after having studied Latin at university. My son is starting Latin in 2022 and I’d like to be able to help him out when he begins as well.
I am also returning to learning French and Italian both of which I have had the pleasure of studying before.
My academic and work background is in Finance and Economics but my academic passions were always Ancient Greek and Roman history and their languages. It is great to now have the time to be able to pursue them after having them on hold for a long time.
I’m here to learn to begin with and read posts but I hope in time with more of both languages under my belt that I’ll be able to start contributing as well.
