Introduction: Attic Greek Curriculum Hopper!

χαίρετε.
I began ancient Greek language studies 2 years ago with the goal of reading texts and textual criticism of the philosophy of the Old Stoa. Along the way I’ve been seduced by Aristophanes and Homer (and even Plato!).

Among the many wise comments I’ve read on this forum are cautions against coursebook-hopping: I confess, truly I have done it to my own bewilderment and overwhelm. I’ve studied with teachers (using JACT, Keller, and Taylor) but also spend a fair amount of effort off-piste (in all the other delightful texts that online commenters point towards!).

My final intermediate course with Oxford’s online program ends in June and then I’ll be on my own. Planning to refocus on the Old Stoa while consolidating my brain map of ancient Greek syntax and morphology. This has been my first round with an inflected laguage.

Χαῖρε, ὦ κυρία. Ἀσπαζόμεθά σε.
