My name is Vasile Stancu and I live in Romania. My professional background is Mechanical Engineering (Welding) and, in the last twenty-five years before I retired in December 2019, I worked as quality engineer in the field of heavy industries. As a retired person, I now find good time to dedicate to one of my hobbies (the most important, perhaps, at this moment), i.e., Ancient Greek.
I began studying Greek several years ago using Gresham Machen’s manual, “New Testament Greek for Beginners” and, after having completed an introductory course based on about half of this manual, I continued to study the language by myself. It is good to be part of a specialized forum where one can ask questions, find answers which otherwise would require considerable time, share ideas, etc.
