Introducing myself

When I first started writing this introductory post a little over two hours ago, my ambition was to sketch out a brief personal reception history of me and the Classics, starting in 2001, when I was seven years old and visited Knossos with my family. I would then move on to when I was 11 and played the role of Hermes in a musical theatre adaption of The Odyssey. Then I would detail some more events and memories, demonstrating the dialectical-historical progression of my Classical self-consciousness, culminating in me taking a course in Ancient Greek at university and signing up at textkit.com. But that proved too ambitious a project (and probably superfluous as well). So I guess I’ll just say hello.
Hello! My name is Magnus and I come from Norway. I’m a Ancient Greek student with a Latin name. Perhaps I should file a name change and call myself Μέγας…? Sorry. It’s past 2 am and I’m getting tired.
