He (Sextus) deserted from the agreement to the Gabii lamenting the…cruelty of his father.
I’m not sure what in sē is supposed to be doing in this sentence.
Also, Orberg changed intolerabilem in the original Latin to nōn tolerandam. Is this supposed to be a gerundive, and if so, how would I translate it?
