I'm digitizing the Apophthegmata Patrum

I am currently digitizing the Apophthegmata Patrum (Gerontikon) in Greek. I wanted to let everyone know in case someone happens to be doing the same. When I am done, I hope to set up a blog dedicated to the study of this composition.
I hope to have this digitized in a few months. I am using the Git Hub OCR repository for the Patrologia Graeca which is making things less tedious (Tome 65). Also a great help is the open source Libre Office Ancient Greek spell check extension and tool set.
I’m currently a little over a third of the way done (στοιχεῖον Ἄλφα ἤδη ἐτελεύτησα).

Hi,

Before you move on with your commendable effort, please check this blog where it says

Περί του Αββά

I corrected a typo in your post.

Excellent! This looks like it has already been done. I have been looking for something like that. I probably should have announced this earlier.
I guess I can move on to the fun part of actually setting up the website then. Thank you!!

Also thanks for the correction on Graecum => Graeca. I haven’t studied Latin and usually rely on
Spanish’s plethora of Latin cognates to get by.

There wouldn’t happen to be anything out there for a digitized Philokalia would there? I have a pdf form but a digitized version would be great.

I did a Google search for a random phrase picked up from this edition.

“καθαρὰν δὲ τοῦ νόμου τῆς ἁμαρτίας τὴν φύσιν”

And I got one hit, corresponding to this site: http://users.uoa.gr/~nektar/orthodoxy/

Ἀγαθῇ τύχῃ

Thank you so much for all the help.
