I read in FAQs to ask the forum or topic administrator about posting an attachment. I have written a commentary on the first half of the first story in Arcadius Avellanus’ Fabulae Divales. I would like to add it to a post in such a way that readers can add notes to it.
One option is to post a link to the document in Google Docs. I can’t figure out how to make the long address appear as a button or short link name to click on.
Another option might be too attach the document directly to the past.
I would love any advice. I find forums complicated places.

For that, you can use the ‘insert URL’ button when typing your text. It is in the middle of the button row, just above where you type your text, right of the image button and left of the ink drop button (hover the mouse over each if you’re not sure). Clicking on it will insert the following text in the typing area:

Then you need to complete it with the url you want to link to and the text to be clicked on:
text-to-be-clicked-on
Thanks Shenoute,I will do that.
Also I would like to use the draft feature, but after creating a draft, I can’t see how to publish it.

I have found it. It says load draft next to edit draft
Thanks.
Hi, I have just followed your instructions as closely as possible and previewed the draft, but the html is still visible. I guess it appears as a button once I post for real?
