Hello everyone! :
I’m new here. I’m also new at Latin. What a great site! Looking forward to talking to you all!

Welcome to Textkit!
Don’t forget to check out the Latin books on this site, click on Learn Latin above.
Welcome, Puella Parva! (That means Little Girl, right? I’m new at this Latin thing, too… ;D) I hope you get as much out of Textkit as I have! The people here are great. If you have a question, don’t be afraid to ask!
Keesa
Thanks to both of you!!
(Yeah you too sis![Keesa is my sister by the way])
Hello! Although your name little girl disturbs me somewhat.
Actually quite a lot. When I saw it I thought “AAAAAH!!!”
or rather “eheu!”
It’s a play on her real name; “Colette” means Little Girl.
Keesa
Yes,
Colette is my name and it’s Little Girl in French. What does your name mean?
I think his name “Episcopus” means “Bishop” or “The Bishop.” Am I right?

Yep, you got it!
Yay! I must be learning Latin, after all! ;D
Keesa
Hey, welcome to Textkit forums.
Freaky, yet cool ;D How old are you two? If young enough to be still living in the same house, then why post to eachother

We still live in the same house…I’m not sure why we post to each other. We send each other Instant Messages, too, though.

O Episcope! You should know better than to ask a girl her age. You should learn this good habit now while you’re still young… before it gets you in trouble when you’re much older.
Oh, I’m not offended. I just forgot to reply to that part of the message…I’m eighteen, and little sister is sixteen. I’ll be nineteen in a few days, though!
Keesa
I’ll be 17 in four months!
And most refreshing it is to see other female-types not bothered by the notions of numbers, randomly designated “ages”, attached to them!
Kilmeny (37 and just shy of 1/2)
I hate the girls who say it to be rude to ask “a girl her age”!
I’ll always be young at heart, so I can’t imagine my age ever bothering me.
