Hi all, I’m a Latin and Greek aficionado now dusting off my languages after an ill-fated and very busy few years as a schoolteacher. Now I work in software development and, finding that I actually have free time again, thought I’d join the community. Years ago I lurked here and found tons of language resources, and I’m excited to see all the new resources that people are linking to and creating.
I live in Lexington, Kentucky, where there is a community of local Latin (and occasionally Greek) speakers, but lately the community has been less active in-person due to COVID. If you all know of any other healthy online communities, I’d love to hear about them. I see that the Ancient Greek subreddit has some good content. But I’ve always appreciated Textkit because it feels more like a community than a lot of online spaces do.
