Greek word in Pexenfelder's "Apparatus eruditionis"

Salvete!

I hope you can help me with a Greek word in the introduction to Michael Pexenfelder’s Apparatus eruditionis. You can find the relevant page here (vel non nisi [GREEK] & cum). Normally I am able to transcribe Greek words, but this one, with its strange script, stymied me. Can anyone give me a transcription of the word and tell me what it means?

Thanks for your help,

Carolus Raeticus

Hi Carole,
It’s περιφραστικῶς = periphrastically. I think it’s synonymous with “cum circumlocutione”
Here’s a link to a guide to greek ligatures:

Thank you for the help and the Ligature-Guide.
