Are there any Greek-Latin dictionaries that can, at least to some extent, be recommended? Possibly also the other direction could be useful. The reason for my question is that a dictionary like that might be the handiest way for comparing the lexicons of these two languages.
Here you can search Hedericus (which I normally use) and Schrevelius
I also believe that the Hedericus and Schrevelius are still the best tools available. But if you want something more modern (maybe not as good) but printed and at a very reasonable price I’d suggest Jean-Michel Fontanier’s Le Lexicon: Dictionnaire trilingue français, latin, grec (there’s also a smaller version available).
Thank you very much. I think these will do finely. Interesting that dictionaries like these are still compiled today.
There’s also Scapula’s much reprinted lexicon, which I believe was a crib off Stephanus.
