From Hell

A short moment of delight during an exhausting nine-and-half hour stay at Europapark, Germany (what wouldn’t you do for your kids? ). It was excruciatingly hot and I was almost dying in the heat, far from my books, when I noticed the inscription above the entrance to the attraction called Poseidon.

Unfortunately the text is not too readable even if I zoom it, but I guess you can figure it out – it was so sunny that I was unable to see on my iPhone screen how good the picture was.

I’ve a sneaking feeling I’ve seen this text somewhere before.

I wonder what Paul must have felt, embarking on that boat ride before his journey home, having travelled far in the world, seeing many cities, and spending 10 hard hours fighting the crowds of Europark.

Just for the record: I didn’t actually embark, as the queue was 35 minutes. I did go to another thing called Cassandra’s Curse, which was actually quite funny and imaginative (or at least new to me).
