Pax vobis, Εἰρήνη πᾶσι !
I’m not sure, but I think the (otherwise beautiful) ceiling shown below may have an error in the Greek inscription to the lower left side of the vault (about 7 o’clock from our perspective).
I believe it is meant to say, if spelled in our Latin alphabet: "Eirene en anthropos eudokias (peace to men of goodwill/ pax hominibus bonae voluntatis).
However, unless I’m mistaken, “eudokias (goodwill),” is unfortunately erroneously rendered “e**g**dokias.” Of course I give the architects/ artisans the benefit of the doubt, esp. since I’m not competent in either Greek or Latin, but I think there might be a mistake here.

Very unfortunate. Looking at the website, did it happen during the 2017 renovation? If they fix it, they need to fix ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΣ as well. Maybe other words cut off here. I think I see an extraneous stop before the ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΣ? I can’t quite tell from this image.
Probably best not to dwell on it. The dome itself is quite beautiful. I’ve seen examples of Greek typos in Latin churches going back very many centuries, so it does partake in an ancient tradition.

No, it was there before 2017. I’m sure He doesn’t mind if the intention was right.
BTW, what’s wrong with “anthropos?”
Dative plural is -οις. It should be: “ἐν ἀνθρώποις εὐδοκίας”, not “ἐν· ἄνθρωπος εὐδοκίας”
