Easy Greek readings in the New Testament

I know that, From going through Mounce’s Book, that 1 John and the Gospel of John are likely the easiest for a beginner to start reading. I was wondering if there were any other passages that would be a little “step up” from that. Any suggestions?

One thing you might like to try and do is look at readers designed for NT Greek and see what passages they use, e.g. the NT reader by JACT has some passages that I assume were chosen because they make good initial reading.
