I am trying to write the subject phrase in Greek. I’ve come up with μὴ ἔα τῷ νόθῳ κατετριφθῆναι, which I am hoping literally means “do not allow to be worn down by the bastards”). I am awful at composition, so I’m assuming there’s a problem. Or is it good to go?
Already found a mistake: it’s κατατριφθῆναι, no augment in the infinitive 
How about ὑπό and the genitive instead of the dative?
I was thinking that too, but the instrumental dative seemed more concise.
