D of possession

I thought the D of possession is used only with verbs like to be etc, but here it is used without a verb, is it common? 8, 7, 6: παῖδες ἐμοὶ καὶ πάντες οἱ παρόντες φίλοι

I take this εμοί as adjectival, in agreement with παῖδες.
