CLIIA--LIIA News

Dear Friends,

I have been absent for a long time as I diligently prepared my materials for the Acheloos reference, now carrying the title The Literature, Inscriptions, and Iconography of Achelous. I have great news: I have secured professional translations for virtually every passage, and have secured a publication contract with Edinburgh University Press! Anticipated date of publication mid 2028. I’ll post updates and requests for feedback here in this thread for those interested. In some cases I opted for older translations of Latin so if there are any competent Latin scholars who are interested in producing fresh translations of Virgil, Ovid, or Seneca, this is a great opportunity!

I’m very grateful for the assistance I received here–especially from Joel. But there were many others as well. This is going to be a great reference book!

Vivat Achelous!!!

Nick
