Channel for international congresses, meetings, online seminars etc. for academics?

Hi there!

I am aphd candidate navigating for the first time the academic seas and one great difficulty I am finding is getting the news on congresses, seminar and events alike on time to make it for the call of papers.

Does anyone know any channel, international or national, where all classics related congresses are announced? Or the only possibility is to browse classics departments webs one at a time?

Finally, in case that no such channel exist, wouldn't it be textkit a great site to post similar news under a "call for papers" tag?

By no means comprehensive, but email lists such as the Classicists list LISTSERV 16.5 - CLASSICISTS Archives - can serve this function. The Digital Classicist has a list of others at Classical mailing lists - The Digital Classicist Wiki but, with the exception of the over-verbose Classics-L, I have no experience of the others

There are two main national organizations that have annual conferences: the Society for Classical Studies in the US and Canada and the Classical Association in the UK (and if you’re in London, the Institute of Classical Studies). They have informative websites.
