"Change" in Homer

I was looking for a word for “change” or “mutability” or “inconstancy” or something like that which appears in the Homeric poems. I tried several different searches in two English-Greek dictionaries, but none of the entries appear as early as Homer. It’s not terribly important, but it seems like an interesting question now. Does anyone have any ideas about how this would be expressed in Homeric Greek?

The best I could think of and find was ἀμείβω and related forms.
